SOAKING TUBS
Greek, Japanese Tubs

These tubs are similar to hot tubs, shorter and deeper than traditional bathtubs, allowing for one or more persons to enjoy a relaxing soak while submerged to the chin.

The hydrotherapy benefits of soaking tubs is well known. Placed near a window with a view of a garden or landscape, these tubs provide a time for relaxation and contemplation, and a feeling of well-being and harmony with the natural surroundings. Bath salts or oils added to the water offer the soothing benefits of aromatheray.

The Greek® Bath

Kohler 4ft Greek Bath - model K-1490-X Similar in size to the traditional Japanese bath, Kohler's Greek® Bath provides a space saving alternative to the usual soaking tub.

Designed for one person bathing, its space-saving size with extra deep basin for soaking, is 4' long, 32" wide, 23 3/8" deep. This tub can be installed in a 3-wall alcove or as a drop-in.

The high-gloss Acrylic backed with a solid layer of fiberglass ensures durability and resistance to chipping, cracking and flexing.

Available in 17 different colors, the Greek tub, may be used with shower doors.

Japanese Tub (Ofuro)

Vicotroia and Albert's Sorrento Japanese Ofuro tub The typical Japanese bath (Ofuro) consists of a tub deep enough for the bather to immerse the body up to the neck when sitting.

Although traditionally made of wood, tile, or, more rarely, metal, tubs are now often made of polypropylene reinforced with fiberglass.

Victoria & Albert's modern sit tub, The Sorrento, is based on the traditional Japanese ofuro and offers a refreshingly different experience - side by side shared bathing.

Made of Englishcast, a 100% solid surface material exclusive to Victoria & Albert that's proved so successful over the last decade. It outperforms both cast-iron and acrylic, having no layers or surface coatings to chip, delaminate, creak under pressure or wear away.

Warm to the touch, the special insulating properties of Englishcast keeps your bathwater at the right temperature for longer.

Add a dash of colour or keep classic white
Englishcast allows you to paint the exterior of your Victoria & Albert tub - maximising the interior design options in your bathroom.

Measuring 55 1/8"L x 37 3/8"W x 39 3/8"H, the Sorrento allows the option of two levels of drop in installation or freestanding. It is available without tap holes only.
