SOAKING TUBS

These tubs are deeper and typically wider than a standard bathtub. They can longer or shorter than the standard tub. Many can accomodate two persons.

The most widely known type of soaking tub is the traditional, free-standing, ball and clawfoot tub. Contemporary styles, drop-in and alcove models are available.

In addition, many manufacturers offer a "soaking version" of their whirlpool, air massage and bubbler tubs.
