All About Pipe
Polypropylene

Polypropylene has excellent chemical resistance, resistant to sulfur-bearing compounds, lightweight, good tensile strength and is saltwater resistance.
It is stronger and more rigid than polyethylene with a higher functioning temperature (190° F), polypropylene is popular as a material for tubular products, such as P-traps, because of its high chemical resistance. However, it is not commonly used in pipe.
