The DTV Custom Showering Experience from Kohler, starts with a sleek, intuitive digital interface control for all of these luxurious amenities, which can personalized to suit your needs with the touch of a button.

The hydrotherapy programs can be combined with temperature therapy; and for complete freedom of choice, all showering components can be operated individually.

The DTV digital interface is streamlined and stylish and contributes toward a bathroom that is free of clutter ... it eliminates the need for multiple control valves. One touch does it all.

The DTV’s pre-set hydrotherapy experiences include: (1) up massage, (2) down massage, (3) wave massage, as well as (4) temperature therapy that can either run from hot to cold or vice versa.

The hydrotherapy programs can be combined with temperature therapy; and for complete freedom of choice, all showering components can be operated individually.

Because there are no crevices or moving parts with the exception of the removable metal ring around the menu dial, the interface is easy to wipe clean and maintain.

Versatile in installation, the digital interface panel can be installed inside and/or outside the showering space, with the latter enabling the user to activate the program before actually entering the space.

The interface panel is available in a vertical or horizontal orientation and in three attractive finishes : Matte Chrome with Polished Chrome, Matte Nickel with Vibrant® Polished Nickel, and Matte Gold with Vibrant French Gold.


The Power behind the system:

DTV gets its name from the precision-engineered, best-in-class digital thermostatic control valve that powers the entire system.

This DTV 6-port thermostatic valve can operate as many as 8 performance showering components, and its easy plug-and-go installation can handle any custom configuration. Digital control allows bather to set precise temperature Six outlets available for use requires 3/4" hot/cold supply lines 21 gallons per minute (at 45 psi)

In comparing this to a traditional installation, one to two mechanical thermostatic valves and six volume control valves .. nearly eight separate protrusions on the shower wall would be necessary to achieve the same performance ... adding clutter to the shower wall.

DTV™ II
Water, Sound, Lights, Steam

The new DTV™ II delivers the same hydrotherapy platform as its DTV forerunner, but also controls sound, chromatherapy and a fully personalized steam component for a holistic sensory experience.

The interfaces of both models look identical, however the functionality built into each of the menus differs.

A digital "bridge" in the form of a media module combines all the elements that are ultimately controlled by the intuitive DTV interface.

The media module is a separate device that is installed behind the wall and links the DTV interface, DTV valve, spray outlets, speakers, lights and steam generator.

Wirelessly or through a network connection, it can either stream music or internet radio from a PC or be directly wired to an MP3 docking station. This allows the user to control the different experiential elements individually or program them to be part of a personalized setting.


The Components
Shower:
The KOHLER DTV™ and DTV™ II feed up to eight showerheads, handshowers or bodysprays.

WaterTile® Bodysprays WaterTile bodysprays lie virtually flush to the wall and can be placed almost anywhere.   The 22-nozzle WaterTile™ delivers a high-volume, stimulating spray, while the 54-nozzle WaterTile creates soothing hydrotherapy. Watch the Video

Multifunction Handshowers The large sprayface directs generous amounts of water wherever you need it most. You can choose your shower experience with just a twist - the outer ring adjusts the handshower’s spray from a gentle, relaxing flow to a deep pulsating massage. Watch the Video

Lights:
Chromatherapy is a popular feature in relaxing home spa environments that up until now has mostly been available in high-end whirlpools.

WaterTile® Ambient Rain Overhead Showering Panel
The WaterTile® Ambient Rain™ overhead showering panel is a 21-by-21-inch lighted square ceiling panel that includes four KOHLER WaterTile bodysprays.

Each of the four built-in WaterTile bodysprays can be adjusted individually for targeted water coverage., with 22 or 54-nozzle sprayheads, provide luxurious water delivery.

Ambient Rain™ showering panel light palettes include sunrise, sunset, sunny clouds and water reflection, with colors that move and change over the course of your shower.

Ambient Rain™ lighting comes from 44 LED nodes evenly distributed throughout the panel, and each individual node can be triggered to either produce a solid color for the entire Ambient Rain panel or form part of a unique preset chromatherapy experience.

Each node is made up of seven smaller LEDs (three red, two blue, two green). The combination of these fundamental colors allows each node to produce over 16 million color combinations. The transparent lens is made of acrylic, and a soldering template is included to facilitate installation. Watch the Video


Sound:
A simple connection from your PC or Mac can take singing in the shower to soaring new heights. Cue music selections from your computer or MP3 player to relax or invigorate, according to your mood.

SoundTile™ speakers
Available in pairs the high-fidelity SoundTile shower speakers, set in a 4-by-4-inch escutcheon, are fully waterproof and designed to perfectly match the shape, profile and finish of Kohler’s iconic WaterTile bodysprays and showerheads. Watch the Video



Steam and Scent:
To complete the ultimate showering experience with a soothing blanket of steam, the DTV II is designed to work with a KOHLER steam adaptor kit that connects to the KOHLER Fast Response™ steam generators.


The DTV interface enables the user to combine steam functionality with any of the other water and media elements, either in a preset sequence or by activating it manually.

Preset your steam for preferred temperature and duration for a personalized experience.


The adaptor kit is available with a single or double steam head, depending on the size of the shower.

The steam head’s integral aromatherapy well allows steam bathers to further their enjoyment by adding a relaxing scent like a drop of jasmine or lavender oil.
